Important Points
- You have the right to request permanent deletion of your personal data at any time.
- Deletion requests can be submitted via email or through in-app account settings.
- Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. This process is irreversible.
- Certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
1. Your Right to Deletion
You have the right to request that we delete any personal information we have collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
Please note that this process is irreversible. Once your data is deleted, you will lose access to your account, history, and any associated services.
2. How to Request Deletion
To exercise your data deletion rights, please submit a request through one of the following methods:
3. 2.1 Method 1: Email Request (Recommended)
Send an email to our dedicated privacy team at support@orcapulse.ai.
Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Username]".
In the body of the email, please include your full name and the email address associated with your account.
We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing the request.
4. 2.2 Method 2: In-App Deletion
If you have access to your account, you can delete your data directly from the platform:
Log in to your OrcaPulse AI dashboard.
Navigate to Settings > Profile.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the "Danger Zone".
Click on "Delete Account" and follow the on-screen confirmation prompts.
Your account and associated data will be scheduled for permanent deletion after a 14-day grace period, during which you may cancel the request by logging back in.
5. What Data Is Deleted
When you submit a verified data deletion request, we will permanently remove the following categories of personal information from our active systems:
Account information, including your name, email address, username, profile details, and authentication credentials.
Usage and activity data, such as login history, session logs, feature usage records, and behavioral analytics tied to your account.
Customer and workflow data, including lead records, contact lists, campaign content, automation configurations, and CRM synchronization data created or managed through your account.
Communication records, including support tickets, in-app messages, chat transcripts, and email correspondence linked to your account.
Integration and third-party connection data, such as OAuth tokens, API keys, and configuration settings for connected services like CRM platforms, email providers, or social media accounts.
Billing and transaction history, including invoices, payment method references, and subscription records (subject to legal retention requirements).
6. Data Retention Exceptions
We may deny or partially limit your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to:
Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.
Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et. seq.).
Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws.
Comply with a legal obligation, including tax, accounting, regulatory reporting, litigation hold, or audit requirements.
Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
7. Backup and Archival Systems
After your data is removed from active systems, residual copies may temporarily persist in encrypted backup and disaster recovery systems. These backups are retained on a rolling schedule and are automatically purged within 90 days of deletion from production systems.
Data retained in backup systems is not accessible for operational use and is protected by the same security controls applied to all OrcaPulse infrastructure.
8. Response Timing
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 30 days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
You will receive an acknowledgment email within 3 business days confirming that your request has been received and is being processed.
Once the deletion is complete, we will send a final confirmation email notifying you that your data has been permanently removed from our active systems.
9. Impact of Deletion
Please be aware of the following consequences before submitting a data deletion request:
Account access will be permanently revoked. You will no longer be able to log in to the OrcaPulse platform or access any associated services.
All workflows, automations, templates, and lead data associated with your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Any active subscriptions will be canceled. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with our Terms of Service.
Team or organization data shared with other members may be reassigned or retained at the discretion of the workspace administrator, in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
Connected third-party integrations will be disconnected. You may need to separately revoke access from those third-party services.
10. Deletion for Team and Enterprise Accounts
If you are part of a team or enterprise workspace, your ability to delete data may be subject to the policies set by your organization’s workspace administrator.
Workspace administrators can request bulk data deletion for all members by contacting our enterprise support team at support@orcapulse.ai.
Individual team members may request deletion of their personal account data, but shared workspace data (such as team-created workflows, shared lead records, and collaborative templates) may be retained for the continued operation of the workspace.
11. Verification of Identity
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may require identity verification before processing your request. Verification methods may include:
Confirming the email address associated with your OrcaPulse account.
Providing government-issued identification in cases involving sensitive data or high-risk accounts.
Responding to a verification code sent to your registered email or phone number.
If we are unable to verify your identity, we may request additional documentation or deny the request to safeguard your data against unauthorized access.

This Data Deletion Policy is designed to comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws, including but not limited to:
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): European Union and European Economic Area.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA): State of California, United States.
